We supply steel with full material traceability and supporting documentation in accordance with project requirements.
Documentation & class requirements
We provide mill test certificates (MTC) and support documentation as required by your project specifications. Materials can be sourced from mills with classification society approvals where required, including but not limited to:
- ABS
- Lloyd’s Register
- Bureau Veritas
- DNV
- ClassNK
- RINA
Other classification societies can be accommodated based on project requirements. Approval and documentation depend on the material and source mill.

Certificate types
Understanding EN 10204 inspection documents.
Your specification decides which document is required. We confirm the certificate type at quotation so there are no surprises at delivery.
Test report
Issued by the manufacturer, confirming the product complies with the order, with results based on non-specific inspection.
Inspection certificate 3.1
Issued by the manufacturer and validated by an authorised inspection representative independent of production, with results from specific testing of the supplied material.
Inspection certificate 3.2
Validated by both the manufacturer’s authorised representative and the purchaser’s representative or a designated inspector, such as a classification society surveyor.
